Additionally, other shells are illustrated in black and white pictures within the book along with distribution maps, scanning electronic microscope photos, and drawings mainly of the structure of shell protoconchs.

This is another book by this author that is a useful stepping-stone for subsequent works on the family Muricinae. Many of the shells shown are holotype specimens and, the discussion of the shells is thorough. The author presents his views for his naming and renaming quite a few species that you will find in this book. Although this is a used book, it would be hard to distinguish it from a brand-new copy.
