album is the 9th volume in this series, and it continues coverage of the Camaenidae. It includes 536 shells
belonging to 274 species, 8 sub species and 8 named forms. As is the same with the
other volumes in this series there is little text except for a list of the family systematics The high quality
photographs, generally of several views of a single species and variations
within a species are what makes this a useful reference guide. Each of the illustrated specimens are keyed by their scientific name, and a reference to the size of the shell and generalized locality information about where it was found.
