Description
Systematics and Biogeography of Eastern Australian Charopidae (Mollusca, Pulmonata)
From the Subtropical Rainforests
by John Stanisic
Published in 1990 by the Queensland Museum, Brisbane, Australia as "Memoirs of the Queensland Museum" Volume 30, Part 1, laminated cardboard covers, 241 pages, the text is illustrated throughout with black and white photos, SEM photos, drawings, charts, and maps
"Systematics and Biogeography of Eastern Australian Charopidae" is a review and study of the 50 species in 18 genera found in the subtropical and temperate zones of the small terrestrial land snails that make up the family in rainforests of Eastern Australia. Stanisic says " that the species reviewed in this book may represent as little as 15% of the total number of the Australian Chariopids. This book will be of interest mainly to advanced collectors or professional malacologists. The body of these books is in excellent condition, but the covers and spines are slightly stained. I was able to find only three other copies of this book, all of which are in Europe.
