ISBN 9781873544648, published by Motivate Press, Abu Dhabi, UAE. in 1995 In hardcover. It is a large format book 32 by 24cm. size (about 9.5 by 12. 5 inches) it contains 296 pages. Each page contains the text which gives very thorough information about the shells and either large, full color or black and white color photos of the shells on that page.

This excellent book is a comprehensive survey of the Red Sea shells, many of which are not found in more general shell books. I have one used copy in stock that is in almost-new condition, with minimal bumps at the front upper edge of the dust jacket and book cover and another that looks to be almost new but it has a inked catalog reference number on the front flyleaf, a rubber stamp on the front and back flyleaves with the previous owners name, and the same stamp along the open edges of the pages.
