This is the first comprehensive book of the shells found off of China that was done in English. It is a very welcome addition to the literature for these shells. It covers the entire coastline of China from the far North to the South to the Indo-Malaysian region. In all, 1661 species described and are illustrated in color photographs. The Opisthobranchs and the Cephalopods are shown with very detailed color drawings. The book did not sell very well, and it is very difficult to find a copy of this important book today. This is a used copy with some rubbing along the top and bottom edges of its spine and a scratch mark on the back of the jacket. The body of the book can easily pass as new.
