Description
Recent Angariidae
by
Guido T. Poppe and Yoshihiro Goto
ISBN 8886070047, ISBN (13) 978-8886070041, Published in 1993 by L'Informatore Piceno, Ancona, Italy. Hardcover contains 29 pages plus an additional 10 full color, page-sized photographic plates, and 10 pages of keys to the plates. It also has maps, drawings and scanning electron microscope photos, and a one page black and white photograph of the holotype and a paratype of a new speciess described in this book.
This slim book fully covers the eleven species of the eleven species that the authors deem valid. Note though that three of the eleven shells are listed as forms. Forms are not an acceptable entity in scientific taxonomy. The layout of the book proceeds the layout used in the later "Conchological Iconography".This is a used copy that can almost pass as a new book. But, there are small bumps in the middle edges of the front and back covers.
