Pliocene Fossils of South-Carolina is a report on 203 fossil species of marine life found in South Carolina. The mollusks include 75 species; they making up the largest section of this publication. This is a high-quality reprint of the original work. The typography and the illustrations appear as they did in the 1857 original. There have been nomenclatural changes made for specimens illustrated in the report. And others have been found since then. But this remains a keystone work early work on the Pliocene fossils in America. The book is a used copy that can pass as new.
