Although this book was published not that long ago, it has been a book that is very difficult to find. This is only the second copy that I've come across. It is a thorough study of the native populations of the terrestrial mollusks found in Canada and it covers the many species of these shells that have been introduced to the country. A complete account is given for all of these mollusks at the specific and super-specific classifications. This is a used book that easily could pass as new save for some slight shelf-wear.
