Richard Houbrick has extensively studied the mollusks that make up the family Cerithiidae This is another of his monographs on a genus within that family. It is a well researched and written report on the twelve molluscan species living in the recent fauna. These mollusks come from the Indian Ocean and the Indo-Pacific regions. The report is well illustrated. It shows the variability in appearance found among some of the species within the genus. The descriptive material comprehensive and documented. The book is a used copy previously belonging to the Arizona State Museum Library. It has a sticker with a catalog number on the front cover as well as a library stamp. There is also a small label on the spine. The spine shows a bit of shelf-wear.
