Robert Janowsky built MDM Shell Books from a love of stories, independent publishing, and community. Their vision created a space where readers and writers could connect, and their legacy will remain at the core of what Shell Books stands for.

As we honor their memory, the store will be entering a period of transition. Shell Books will soon be moving to new ownership and a new website. During this time, we kindly ask for your patience as there may be temporary disruptions or delays in service.
