A review, revision and discussion of the 32 known recent and fossil members of the genus Trivellona including the descriptions of 5 new species. These species are distributed from Japan through the Western Pacific and to the east of Australia through the Coral Sea through New Zealand. The book is well illustrated with excellent photographs and with close up photography to help differentiate the details between many of these species. One full color plate is devoted to each of these species and examples of many specimens are shown. Hopefully this book will be the first in a series covering the entire family which has not seen a revision since Cate's 1979 Review of the Family Triviidae.
