Although this book was produced 28 years ago as the date that this review was written it is the best book ever produced that survey the great numbers of bivalve mollusks that can be found in and around the Red Sea. It is extremely informative and it is beautifully illustrated with full-color photographs of these shells as well as their descriptions including an extensive synonymy. We have several new copies in stock although the book is now out of print.
