This new book joins the growing number of books on the Opisthobranchs and as we have come to expect with these books the photographs of the living animals in their natural habitat are stunning. This is the first study of these molluscs that I know of devoted to the species that are found off the Canary Islands which lie off-shore of northwestern Africa. The separation of these Islands from the mainland has given rise to a large number of mollusks that are found only in these waters. The book is in Spanish but except for the introduction the text is minimal. This book will appeal to both divers and to those interested in sea life and molluscs who are lucky enough to have the opportunity to visit these islands
